Despite the challenges that we faced due to Covid-19 pandemic, which significantly affected our work and our direct outreach to the public, this period provided us with the opportunity to seek new means of interaction and with the community. Direct communication between Arab dancers has become difficult owing to the current economic and political conditions, the Ramal- lah Contemporary Dance Festival decided to organize the Arab Youth Dance Forum; the first of its kind in Palestine. The dancers will be provided the opportunity to present their ide- as, share their experiences, talk about the challenges they face and come up with proposals and recommendations that will con- tribute to the promotion and development of collaborations among young dancers in the Arab world. The purpose of the forum is to allow Arab dancers to present their ideas and share their experiences in an open dialogue that an- swers several questions concerning the following themes: The challenges that Arab dancers face, communication scopes and joint actions, professionalizing dancing in the Arab World and en- hancing economic empowerment, dance and its relationship with society.
