The Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival is organizing its the Palestinian Artists Forum, which is a collective platform for all Palestinian artists from differ- ent sectors. The forum aims to deepen and encourage collaborations through discussing the challenges faced by the Palestinian cultural sector and by the Palestinian artists, as well as to find proposals, recom- mendations and common solutions to meet these challenges for the development of this important sector. Through this forum, we will try to answer several questions, in- cluding: what are the challenges facing the art sector in Palestine? Why wasn’t there enough interest in the art sector during Covid-19 pandemic? Have we been able to adapt to the pandemic and cre- ate alternatives for our work? How much more modern technol- ogy can be used in our field of work? How effective are virtual performances from the artist’s point of view and based on his/her personal experience?
