About the Company About the performance The company’s dancers hail from different environments and backgrounds. Their interests and body language vary, but there is common research on a language that encompasses them and does not terminate their individuality. The company is newly estab- lished and interspersed with previous work between the dancers, which created harmony and communication before starting their own company. Dancers are from Nablus, Haifa, Jerusalem, and Ramallah. Hara - the Arabic word for neighborhood - is the proposed title for a production using body language to show various phases one goes through in life. It is inspired by a conviction in the promi- nence of our roots in shaping our lives. The main focus will be on childhood with a specified look at the memories and exploration of encounters that end up instilled in us for the rest of our lives. The show will highlight these encounters through body language due to its well -known ability to speak the unspoken. Furthermore, movement is subjective and may express many different situations whereby each person will most likely have a different view, some relating to the piece and some critical.
