Choreographer & Dancer: Ramz Siam, Mentoring and Dramaturgy: Jumana Dabis About the Artist Ramz Siam, is a Palestinian dancer from Jerusalem. She holds a bachelor’s degree of Political Science & Women’s Studies. She Start- ed dancing ballet at Rosary Sisters School. Later, she joined Douban Professional Dance Company. Later, she joined the Sareyyet Ramallah Dance Company. During this period, she participated in many produc- tions on national, regional and international level. In 2018, she had the opportunity to be enrolled for one-semester at the National Academy of Rome with the support of Sareyyet Ramallah. When she was back home, she started teaching children ballet in the Sareyyet Ramallah. A solo dance performance (work in progress) that expresses an ongo- ing cycle of rejection and resistance, while portraying its impact on the body and self.
