About the Film
In 2014, the French dancer and choreographer Benjamen Millepied is appointed director of dance at the Opéra National de Paris. He launches the process of a new ballet, “Clear, Loud, Bright, Forward”, for which he selects forty dancers from the “corps de ballet”. But he has to face deeply rooted traditions in this prestigious institution.

About the Film
Two sisters (Catherine Deneuve and Françoise Dorléac) leave their small seaside town of Rochefort in search of romance. Hired as carnival singers, one falls for an American musician, while the other must search for her ideal partner. With a music composed by Michel Legrand, Jacques Demy presents a very colorful and joyful musical.

 The “MAN WOMAN” duets were filmed in collaboration with a team of four artists at various modernist monuments and UNESCO World Heritage sites by Swiss-born French architect Le Corbusier in his planned city of Chandigarh commissioned by India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru in 1950.
